Run-Commuting = Which backpack?

Yeah, luckily we have showers at work (at the gym), otherwise it would not be an option.

If people could start running/cycling to work, the benefits would be huge.

As someone who cycles to work (part-way at least) I couldn't agree more.

OK fine, from tomorrow I will try and run to work. 9.6kms each way. I will see how long it takes and hope like hell that I survive. AT least its only 1 day this week.

I must know, did you manage to do this?

Camelbak make nice backpacks that tie tightly to your back and don't bounce up and down. Usually have a hydration pack and space for a few small tubs.

I actually found my old cheap Mr PRICE Maxed hydration pack and used that as a trial. It worked well.

I packed my food in small sealable tubs, and packed in some fruit and yoghurt.

As soon as this bag looks like it is wearing out, I will go for a Camelbak or a K-Way Hydration pack.

So it seems if the pack is nice and tight on your back, with the chest strap tightened, it runs well without jumping all over the place.

Its 9km one way.

Its such a practical solution, save petrol, car maintenance costs, no traffic etc.
fkin hell...every workday? Respect!

I too commute to work on foot. Except I walk. And it's uh not 9km. :o

not sure you what you have for lunch, but can't you keep it at work? Buy a loaf of bread, small marge and block of cheese and keep it in the fridge or will it 'walk'

That stuff tends to eat itself..Very mysterious.
