Driving back from the shops yesterday, my car came up with a warning indicating a flat tyre.

Turns out the rear right tyre has a leak. I've read up a bit about run flat tyres, and supposedly you can't repair them.

All tyre workshops are closed today. Does this mean I have to buy a new tyre? Or replace both seeing as you can't repair a puncture? The tyres are relatively new. :(

It can be repaired. I've seen it done before. They will just tell you it can't to secure a new tyre sale. Unless of course you drove with it flat and caused the sidewall to be damaged. If it's just the run of the mill puncture they should be able to patch it. That was my dad's experience anyhow.

Yes they can be repaired just fine.
Only not in the sidewall, as with every other tyre.

I had a slow leak (from a nail in the tread) in mine this week, and HiQ + R14 later, it was fixed.

R14 or R140?
