Running 2 ISPs off 1 line

I'm currently have a SAOL all in one account. I've been having plenty of problems with the Telkom telephone line and I suspect SAOL as well. SAOL run the ADSL line and not Telkom. Now I want to try out another ISP to see if there is any improvement on the same line. Can I do this considering SAOL run the actual line?

SAOL don't actually operate the line, all lines belong to telkom. They just packaged the line rental into their offering. You pay them, they pay Telkom.
