Running 2 PPPOE dial up connections

Hello

My problem is I have two computers.. One is running on a Polka account and the other is running on a OpenWeb account..

Each computer has its own PPPOE dial up internet connection.. Every now and then my internet is extremely slow or just doesn't work.. It seems to be after I installed OpenRouter which is part of OpenWeb which allows you to browse international sites with local cap..

I was wondering if it is the OpenRouter application causing this or what? Both computers are experiencing the same problem.. I am assuming that OpenRouter configures the router to browse internationally so therefore it could the program affecting the other computer?

I don't know.. Any help would be appreciated.

The OpenBrowsing software simply reroutes your international requests through their webserver, so it could possibly be slowing things down. I don't know the specifics of the program but it would only affect the speed of the internet on which it is running. The other computer would obviously be affected if the other computer uses all the available bandwidth.

Ok so it cannot be the OpenBrowse application.. Because the other PC is running off Polka not OpenWeb and it is experiencing the same problem ..

Any ideas as to what may be slowing down my internet? I have used all my international bandwidth and now onto my 27gigs local, this couldn't be what is slowing down my internet though because the polka account is still on it's international bandwidth and still slow..

Please help



and when I say my internet speed is slow, i mean 2 minutes to load a thread on my broadband

Ok this is weird, I opened the OpenRouter application - Clicked on "Stop Proxy" and my internet is fast again..
What is going on?
Please enlighten me
