Any runners out there? What songs are on your iPod ?

Looking for new inpsiration.

depends on my mood and what kind of workout i am doing,
some decent stuff includes faithless, chemical brothers, prodigy on the other side some stuff like rage against the machine usually hits the spot

Lose yourself - eminem
Till I collapse - eminem
Lots of limp bizkit
Some lost prophet

I listen to ministry messages :o. it's the only time I get to get into them like that...

Well if you're run over I'm sure you'll be fast tracked through the pearly gates :D

Well it's in the gym. Mind you one time I was recovering from a sickness and i lost my grip and flew backasswards from the machine in front of a packed audience halfway through the gym so I very nearly died of embarrassment...

Pick a song that you like from your library and have Genius create a playlist for you is the best thing I could suggest without knowing your tastes in music or requirements in workout music.

Sounds great.

Umm, what is Genius? :o

EDIT : Got it figured out :o:o

I don't run with music. I want to be alone with myself when I run.

I once tried it on a 10km run, haha. Was bloody annoying, ear pieces kept falling out, had this ipod bouncing around in my pocket (don't have money to buy a shuffle haha).

So after that I prefer the wind in my ears :)

However, I imagine stuff with good tempo could work.

I used to listen to Eminem - Lose Yourself before my track races (1500m and 800m).

The important thing to remember here is not to do funny dance moves while running.

You 're labouring under the misonception that I am a real runner. Far from it :)

I run a meagre 5km about 3 times a week.

Sounds exactly the same as myself. I normally listen to either Hillsong or Skillet. Earplugs stick quite well, and a cheapie R150 JVC is light enough not to bounce my pocket too much. My problem is that I tend to run to the beat of the music, which is normally not quite compatible with the treadmill speed. Ever seen someone with earplugs giving these fast, silly, short steps on a treadmill.....

Silly question, isn't it dangerous running with earphones listening to music? Don't you want to hear the traffic in case some motorist does something silly?
