Running shoe advice needed for flatfooted pronator

I had similar but went to a podiatrist he also created new soles for the running shoes for me. And normal shoes. I’m only slightly pronated but my bigger problem is I have flat feet - almost zero arch. Hoka proved super comfy but did not last long.
Thanks so much. Let me phone that Podiatrist. What shoes are you running in now?

Are you being serious? It makes sense though because my feet are most comfortable barefoot.
personally I would not suggest running in those..... I'd rather run barefoot on a rugby field. Those things looks like a recipe for blisters.
Weak muscles can be fixed with strength training imo.

I didn't get any blisters with them. They sit very well.

These are my favourite running shoes as someone with flat feet.

You end up building the muscle in your feet that help reduce the problems with flat feet. I also have weak ankles, so they help build that muscle as well.
I've read on a few places that good running shoes that support feet is actually doing more bad than good for flat feet. Running barefoot or with minimalist running shoes will strengthen the bridge of the foot (some even claimed that the arch started to form again).
There's even kettlebell experts, like Mark Wildman and Pavel Tsatsouline, that claimed they/you can cure flatfeet with a few kettlebell swings per day.

For the average low mileage weekly runner probably but for High mileage runners in excess of 120km's per week or more good supportive running shoes is a must imo.

Ps. Puma have a flash sale today for 30% off if you uuse FLASH30 as a coupon / discount code at checkout. Just snatched a pair of Velocity 3 nitor shoes for 1.8k

Good day! I am looking for advise on road running shoes: I have a wide, flat foot and I pronate when I run. Recommendations welcome, thank you!
Heavy running pronator here and the ASICS Kayano range is the best for flat feet. Not only is it designed specifically for this but it's incredibly durable.
Over 60% of comrades runners use asics because you can trust it to look after your feet.

What did you end up getting? the Adizero Sl is on sale at Cape union mart and Bash

I'm training for a marathon and that is hard enough with normal running shoes.
you should try on the new puma magmax running shoes. Alternatively look for the Puma velocity wide or Puma deviate nitro 3 wide. Amazing shoes and seriously underrated
