Any runners around here?

I supinate which means a basically run on the outside of my foot.

I've read on the asics website that they offer two kinds of shoes. Neutral and Stability. It would appear Stability shoes are for people who run on the INSIDE of their feet. So to counter this they use slightly harder compound to even the foot out.

In theory this would only make my problem worse as it would only push further towards the outside of my foot where I should be going the other way!?

According to asics website my style requires a neutral shoes with lots of shock absorption, like their gel nimbus range.

Any thoughts, comments or suggestions please?

Thank you

Hi techead

There is a shop in Lynnwood in Pretoria. I see your location is "by the mountain"... I have no idea where that is! :-)

In any case, they test you and make you run whilst monitoring your foot-action and then recommend a shoe to you.

I always only buy there since the early 2000's.

Runaway Sport is the shop's name.

I am a pronator and they've sorted me out many years ago.

I trust you will be sorted!

Cheers

Bought shoes from them as did family & friends. They seem to tell every customer the same spiel, namely that they need shoes with more inside support. :/
