My wife and I both use MSN on our home PC. Is there a way to have two MSN clients open (each with a different login) at the same time on one PC?

doesn't msn plus! allow that? I got that app/addon makes lots of cool things possible but never quite figured out multiple accounts.

Use aMSN or gaim alongside your normal windows client. Both are free open-source apps. aMSN provides webcam support, gaim provides support for any IM protocol.

Use a multi protocol messenger like Trillian or GAIM . Then just create all your MSN accounts in there and off you go. [obviously this applies to all other protocols too, i.e. multiple google talk accounts etc].

On a side note, you can run multiple instances [different accounts] of Google Talk by running it with "/nomutex" commandline paramater [just edit your shortcut].

I've just tried tians advice using www.apatch.org When you run it you've got alot of options like removing the add bar at the bottom etc. and there's one option that you can install that enables you to run 2 of more instances of windows live messenger.

Then you don't have to use any other messenger protocols.

ok own up guys ... how many of you have chatted to yourselves once you installed it?
