Question of the Day: What's the most interesting small town you've visited in South Africa?
pffft I live in Johannesburg and I can't get a damn line installed for 8 months. This whole complex doesn't have telephone lines/internet access and apparently it's been like that for a while before I moved here. This is in Befordview btw. NOT EXACTLY RURAL
no wimax reception, iBurst extremely poor unusable reception. And I've been clinging to the hope of telkom eventually installing a line, so I'm not willing to buy an expensive 3g modem and enter a 12 month contract with the cellphone companies. Currently I've got my cell plugged into my pc and running off GPRS hahahahaa.
I wish I could get a telephone line here in Johannesburg before the guy in Gatsonderwater.
