Facebook said on Tuesday that a Russian Web investor had purchased a nearly 2% stake in the social network giant for $200 million, valuing the company at some $10 billion.

Yes, through advertising. You may not see it as much in S.A. (I guess not many clients there?) but their targeted ads can be uncomfortably accurate.
