Samoa centre Brian Lima, the only man to have played in five World Cups, has been cited for an alleged dangerous tackle on England flyhalf Johnny Wilkinson during Saturday's Pool A match.

At last this fool has now been cited before he takes someones block off.

I am really p1ssed off though at the huge inconsistency in the citing process.
The Aussies, could well have lost 3 players during the game against Wales, but nothing was said or done. Even they themselves said they were rather fortunate not to loose a player or 2 during their weekly Rugby show on DSTV.
Lima almost kills himself and Andre Pretorious and nothing is said while Burger gets pinged!

Now he hits Johnny 'cotton-wool' Wilkinson in an incident that is nowhere near as bad as it was with Pretorius and gets cited.
Well at least he will get a ban for minimum 2 games for this.

it is hard not to claim double standards with the huge inconsistency. I agree, the tackle on Pretotius was far more dangerous. For good's sake, Lima concussed himself!

About time
Banned Lima’s tournament over
Brian Lima’s fifth World Cup ended in disgrace, with a three week suspension for a dangerous tackle.

Lima should have been cited for his attempt to take off Andre Pretorius’s head, but inexplicably he escaped any form of punishment.

On Saturday he connected Jonny Wilkinson and this got him penalised during the game and cited afterwards.

He appeared before a disciplinary on Monday and was banned for three weeks.
