Hi,

is there anywhere in SA where these are available new? I've been looking and I cant find anything, I thought that the shortage had ended but apparently that was short-lived. Not looking for second hand.

Most of my suppliers just laughed when I asked for any 570/580 this week. One of them is getting stock this week but their first shipment have all been booked out already.

It should be back to normal by end February/early March.

For mining or gaming? If gaming just go for a gtx 1060 6GB.

Check out Amazon if you dont mind International. I picked up RX570s and RX580s average cost R4474 including tax and shipping.

Edit: They are out of stock as well they had RX570 8GB on special on Wednesday.

i did check :( did you use aramax or amazon international shipping?

All the cards came via amazon international shipping which was using UPS but my latest 2 cards that are still on their way are coming with aramax.

just out of interest, what shipping method did you select at Amazon, standard / expedited / priority etc... do you get insurance if it doesn't arrive and can you have it delivered to your house instead of a post box? but then what about tax... lotsa questions I know but just thinking the same as to order PC components from Amazon, thanks

I usually take the cheapest shipping, it doesnt take that long and the expedited costs a lot. I dunno about the insurance but you can deliver to house as they use DHL, tax is calculated during checkout and paid by DHL at customs.

All my GPUs were delivered to my place and via a courier services (UPS and now Aramex) using the standard amazon shipping. I have not had an issue where something I brought from Amazon does not arrive but I am sure if you chat to them, they will sort it out for you. Shipping and customs are calculated at the payment page so you will not have to pay customs on the side. Just make sure your ID number is in your profile page else someone from the courier company will be calling you at 7:30am.

Everything I have brought on Amazon including shipping and tax has come off cheaper than buying it here in SA so sad.

how do returns and RMA work/cost?

For everyone looking to get more cards, we did place a big order for a bunch of GPUs.
Don't have an exact ETA, but should have within a week or 2.
