Ryobi rebranding???

Same boat with a few people here, I don't usually use a good chunk of my 'exotic' tools (drills and oscillating being Bosch as they're frequent), so for their infrequent use, Ryobi served me well. It's usually the moisture that gets to them sitting if they break, I feel.

Only time I was immediately burned was with their SDS Hammer, the mode selector knob was broken and after a few hours of careful use, burned out. Thankfully the return and swap was painless and this one isn't defective, but I take *extra* care of it in case lol

BS I have a few Ryobi tools and they great. I have a Ryobi drill. Ok it was not a cheap one but industrial that is more than 15 years old and probably drilled 5000+ holes into walls and concrete and apart from changing the chuck once is still going perfect.

Also this rebranding is nothing new. 15+ years ago I bought some funny no name brand cut off saw at Game. Think it was called Powerline or something. It was standing next to a Ryobi and R300 cheaper. Except for the plastic that was different color, everything was 100% the same. Every little marking or dent or curve was a exact match.

Ryobi is ok as long as you don't need precision. Ok for a drill, or chainsaw if you don't use it often.

Steer well clear of something like a mitre saw or table saw. You are better off just burning the money, as you'll save cost of the material you are about to waste.

Impact wrench (I have driver) is on my list for some time, Dewalt is too expensive, Bosch I need battery and it is pricy so I'm checking Ingco.
They have presence for quite a long time, line-up is decent and not that expensive but somehow I just can not pull the trigger.....

FYI Ingco and Total tools is the same.
Only thing I bought from Ingco so far is a Axe.
