Man, this happened almost 10 years ago, I actually can't fully remember which club I played for. Was either Stellenbosch or Somerset West's club. Maybe I can find the game at home and post it here.

Edit: I only saw now you wrote in the present tense. I'm not currently playing. Should probably not have stopped. My last club/league/tournament game was the same year I drew against Kenny. He's a cool guy, btw. But can have a fiesty temperament when playing. Almost got into a fist fight once during the SA chess open :D

That is impressive. I saw the SA team did well at the Olympics, but I did not know you can get a GM norm there.

I would have thought Watu Kobese would be first, but I think he was getting a bit old :)

I think you might be confusing the World Chess Olympiad with the Olympics. Don't think chess is an olympic sport. But it shoud be.

I think he's referring to the olympiad, just using the terms olympics/olympiad interchangebly.

btw - I wouldnt include it at THE olympics, there's no way you're gonna get general spectators excited while commentating about a sicilian defense or king's side attack :D
