Are there any isp's out there that have a reliable service and manageable ping?

I currently use mweb on a 384, ping is reasonable on most mmos, and uptime is very good, but just can't stomach the cap anymore.

MWeb is the most expensive ISP out there. They're more expensive than Telkom.

I use Afrihost (IS), and have a backup SAIX account from Axxess.
I pay Telkom directly for my 384 line.

The cap is your problem? Why? How much cap do you use on MMOs? I'd say MMOs are pretty easy on the cap, unless you're talking downloading massive patches and full clients.

Of course it depends on what exactly you playing, if an MMO consist of alot of instancing [lots of loading / random personal zones] like Champs Online OR these streaming type of games like Second Life, yes than i can understand. However something like WoW, shouldn't be that bad even WITH voice [ventrillo etc] .

In fact per hour, my browsing is by far more than any MMO i play....

Dungeons & Dragons Online . An MMO that recently dropped their subscription [it is now free to play with micro transactions].

@ zippy, yeah DnD Online. Ty Diabolus.

@ Diabolus, Yeah I am talking about downloading the game clients. One game a month, maybe 2 just isn't working for me. The bandwidth usage isn't bad for actually playing most games. Some games though I can't really play at all with a 384. Going to have to upgrade in the new year.

@ Jase, Yeah had a look at afrihost, think I will get a small 1 gig account as a backup and have a go at Digichilli's uncapped. Its slowly but surely coming right by the looks of it.

@davemc. I know! Its crazy, just on it still out of inertia.
