Quick question...

Am I correct in assuming that there are only 2 Tier 1 providers in SA? Those being SAIX and IS?

So all shaped and capped would be through SAIX and all shaped and uncapped through IS and unshaped and capped through SAIX and all unshapped and uncapped through IS?

Shew. Hope you understand what I meant above !! :o

sat 3 and satelite.

Saix is sat 3
IS is satelite and saix's sat 3
...

saix and verizon unshaped via sat3

is uncapped/shaped via satelite

is fiber options - which has been gone silent over the details, goes through sat3 supposable.
...

there was a so called saix uncapped but had to be withdrawn by solmatrix as per asasa ruling

There is also Verizon, who only offer unshaped accounts.

You could still get uncapped connections over SAIX, I wouldnt say that anything uncapped is definitely going to be IS. It should be made clear which provider is used with any account you buy, rather check with the ISP.

Of course you also get capped offerings on IS, so not all capped and shaped goes through SAIX either.
