But it is your fault for leaving your geyser on. We'll just continue to lose 100s of Megawatts because of failing infrastructure. But you must use power saving light bulbs, because you are responsible for this mess.
 
'through load shedding in the short term, power rationing in the medium term, and demand management'... ummm, all sounds like semantics to me? Ie, all 3 lead to the same outcome: no access to power over certain periods? How do you 'ration' other than to deny access to it? All will soon be revealed...

Ah found this on power rationing and it seems to make sense: 'This plan involves both energy-efficiency measures such as the extensive introduction of solar water heating, and rationing of big users through quotas and price incentives should they not achieve reduction targets voluntarily. The programme should take effect from April onwards.'
