SA local elections set for November 1

ANC share will continue to drop, because the bulk of outstanding votes are in the metros.

And then when people say the DA does not provide equitable service delivery in poor areas, y'all deny it.

To quote myself:

Bankrupt and broken municipalities don't benefit the poor either, it just benefits no one except the cadres and their beneficiaries. Everyone, across the board, gets poor service delivery.

A well run municipality benefits the more affluent suburbs AND the poor, as there is actually money to keep services maintained for the rate payers in the more affluent suburbs and roll out and maintain infrastructure for the poor.

The IEC's result page shows updates which isn't shown on the other data aggregators, vice versa. I am talking about huge updates. I am quite certain these systems don’t use the same source.

They do if you are not a communist that wants everything for nothing.

Meanwhile the ANC might continue mismanaging Emfuleni and the poor will have to keep living in sewage filled streets. The only equitable service delivery from the ANC is no service delivery for anyone.

The results will continue to see-saw, but yes, the EFF will start to cut into the tenths, but my guestimate is that their position has stagnated, so they will remain more or less unchanged.

It is controlling the wards, some more important than others, which is most important, and it seems that ActionSA will be the main kingmakers this time around.

IIRC, ActionSA said that they won't go into a coalition with the ANC, but who knows, and the DA said that they won't go into a coalition with the EFF unless they decide that the EFF shares the same values as they do ;)

Waiting for all those DA/ANC coalitions.
