SA now on world map

Is this only for DSTV viewers? Or can all SA networks be able to access availabe content for broadcasting? May now we can get the latest series.

It would probably be available to anyone who has Broadcasting/TV distribution rights.

Essentially what they trying to say is that instead of "couriering" the movies, sports, series,etc.. on hard copy they just send it across the wire. We all do it locally here a.k.a Torrents/P2P.

This is just a more fancy version of doing it, that comes with a lot more benefits and hefty price tag I am assuming :)

Woah least SA is moving in the right directions and dipping toes into the new ways :) I just wanna see how the cable projects are doing after 18 months :/

You can't use the words "South Africa" and "unlimited broadband" in the same sentence. Absolutely forbidden!!!

Wireless broadband counts, right? Neotel.... :p

I've lived in London, I kinda miss having an uncapped 16mb line for only £32 a month...:(

It's only a matter of time. When SEACOM is online in July next year, we will see broadband prices drop substantially. Maybe not immediately, but it will happen.
