I've seen a lot of people screaming "Justice for Cwekwe" on social media. There's an afriforum link somewhere (I assume the principal is white?). But the media articles I read didn't actually say much. I guess someday someone will write a book and then we will know what the real story was.

The authorities should probably clear things up instead of letting all these "protests" carry on. I doubt most of these mobs have bothered to find out what happened. Seems more and more to me that this is made up or the perp is a lot closer to the victim. I saw something on twitter that the father or step was abusing the family. But it's Twitter so likely BS.

Sometimes you speak the truth. They are still a willing minority party, hence they promote majority interest through the promotion of minority interests. I only hope that they and the DA will settle their differences. The collaboration between the DA and FF+ has the potential to achieve significant progress for our society. Regrettably, power struggles are at play, and both parties share in the blame. Party first... this is why coalitions suffer, everyone has their own tribal mentality, and chieftains come first in line.

I do think that some parties want to have the FF+ booted from the GNU. The GNU needs to be a progressive and 'big' business-friendly movement. Next week will be more revealing of the sphere of national unity.

This story is ****ed up. The police say no foreign DNA was found on her and in the same breath say DNA sample's have been taken from three potential suspects. The mother is demanding a sample from the principal. I'm going to pass until something gives
 
Malema is a false flag operation. Keep your eyes on Ramaphosa. Watch him very closely.
 
I don't believe this reflects the voters' message. While we are moving away from majority rule, every party still aims to be the majority eventually. That is just one of the core principles of business.

Personally, South Africa has far too many political parties. It needs to be condensed. I'm all for independents, but an independent also needs to pick a side if favoured by an electorate. Steenhuisen, or rather the DA, should remember this message that they have put out. Single rule is over, and no party gets to dictate policy direction, though he said, "our", like Ramaphosa says, "our".

Unfortunately, majority is just that, the majority of dictation.

Yes, it is time for coalitions in all areas of governance, best based off a system of federalism.
 
Since their letter was "leaked", they can settle this whole thing once and for all by releasing the ANC's letter agreeing to most of the terms, which they later walked back on...

I am curious whether the DA will continue with their case, or withdraw their case? It would mean that the accusations are retracted.

Numerous negotiations and proposals appear to be shrouded in confidentiality. I do question how transparent and inclusive the GNU is. Surely, if anything is proposed to the ANC in terms of the GNU, then it is proposed to everyone?

At the end of the day, whatever they are willing to release is depending on whether it is good for the optics.

Nah, I think they have every intention of job creation/growth, but only after the party and its connected cadres and benefactors have had their fair share...

New cadres my friend, you must understand the list is quite extensive unfortunately..

We may get around to everyone having eaten sometime in 3098 if we're lucky and the aggressive approach to the mandate is maintained.
