Well we don't know what was discussed behind closed doors.

We will only find out if there is a change for the better when they come back...
My understanding is that a framework was presented and negotiators will flesh that out over the coming period. Whether Trump lets up on his fake refugee rhetoric is a different matter. It could be a trade agreement is reached but the refugee thing continues because that's obviously something they want to do despite evidence to the contrary.

The BS was the genocide thing, but the refugee policy has nothing to do with that, it's about persecution of minorities (apparently, we'll see what that means in practice). Which they would argue that BEE is, especially in the absence of a sunset clause...

This is what made the news in the rest of the world.

Nothing to do with the meeting that was happening. It's no wonder he gets irritated with them, asking dumb questions about unrelated domestic issues. Are they trying to shift the narrative because the issues being discussed made the lefties uncomfortable?
Was dumb of the guy to raise this and then Trump was happy to make a big thing about it.

In context though, Trump has probably dodged the topic so this was a chance to get him to say something.
So what was worse ? The attempt to corner Trump or the reaction.
Where are those Epstein files BTW ?

Trump made his point though, don't try embarrass him, it will end up badly.

It is your everyday crime, it does not change being your everyday crime because you are a white farmer.
GG WP

A parable for you:

/Be me
/Hypothetical friend gets brutally raped
/she comes over, explaining what happened and that it happened to some friends of hers too
/I dismissively respond, "Ag, there are people who are getting robbed, men who are killed. Why elevate this? This is everyday crime"

South Africa is an extremely violent country, no race has any right to elevate the crime they experience above others, which is what the right wingers are doing.

But ke, I am happy for you white people to continue doing what you are doing, I will also continue telling you exactly how I feel from my side.
It's not elevation, but it's fine.

Ironically, it seems that you're trying to elevate crimes as long as they aren't against white targets. Remember CweCwe?

Logically that makes sense... but Trump keeps telling us about White Genocide.

Trump has his own version of BEE by "Putting americans first". He doesn't see the irnoy.
