Celebrating 0.1 percent growth. Pathetic in so many ways, especially since many of our developing country peers are growing at a much faster rate than us. Of course, our developing country peers aren't stuck in the past like many of the ANC cadres and don't have growth-killing legislation. I saw a comparison between Poland and SA a few months ago...Poland used to be on par with SA but has now shot ahead on multiple metrics. The major problem is that the ANC is inspired by the Communist NDR...

ANC corruption/damage done to the country for decades < DA uh, arrogance

Remember. Infinite scapegoating absolves you of all responsibility and accountability. Instead of worrying about the ANC, rather focus on whatever the DA is doing. That's where the real damage is being done to SA.

Why would we expect ANC cadres to care about economic growth when the only reason they are in government is to loot and steal.

Not sure about her facts but what I know is that education and skills are way out of poverty, if you do not have that all natural resources are in vain.
And you can see that thought out continent and many failed projects from manufacturing to agriculture in SA.
You can also look at lack of skills in government that caused such deterioration of infrastructure and inability to not only develop but to maintain what SA has.

Singapore is great example what you can achieve when you eliminate corruption, promote high quality education and meritocracy with almost no natural resources.

China is another great example where they invested heavily in education and they are technological super power.
In 1910 SA had 11000 km of rail track, China had 9000, km today we have 22000km and china has 159000km and big question is how much of our rail is usable and most importantly since 1994 only 1000km was built.

Saddest part is that while world is going up SA is going down, from manufacturing, mining, health care to education.

"Politicians" like her unfortunately can only beat one beat while people do not realize that there are many more beats that would be more enjoyable and better for them.

Nah, just double standards from the white minority who is afraid of transformation post apartheid.

Notice how they love any and all politicans until they speak of redress and accountability for the terrible crime that was apartheid, from Cyril, Thuli to Mashaba etc.

This is why they hate former president Zuma so passionately, not because of the corruption during his terms.

In essence, some want South Africans to pretend apartheid never happened, if you don't, you become an enemy as we're seeing Cyril become one in the media now after he dragged Israel to the ICC for actual genocide in Gaza & standing firm on the transformation agenda.

One thing I do absolutely love though is that there is little anyone, nevermind them that can or will do to stop transformation post apartheid in South Africa. It's inevitable just like the downfall of that nonsensical government pre-1994 that killed teens in school uniform was.

You're not sure about her facts? Which ones because you were all on board when she went for Zuma.

Now she's going for the elephant in the room which is inequality along race in SA stemming from apartheid and you're not a fan? 🤣

Love how you talk education and skills as if that's how the white minority got wealthy in South Africa.

Here is a list of all the "education and skills" the afrikaners had during apartheid:

1. Natives Land Act (No. 27 of 1913). We fix this with EWC. 🙂

2. Native (Urban Areas) Act (No. 21 of 1923). We fix this with EWC and BEE. 🙂

3. Natives (Abolition of Passes and Coordination of Documents) Act (No. 67 of 1952). Fix with BEE. 🙂

4. Group Areas Act (No. 41 of 1950). We fix this with EWC. 🙂

5. Bantu Authorities Act (No. 68 of 1951). EWC. 🙂

6. Bantu Education Act (No. 47 of 1953). We fix this with BELA. 🙂

7. Mines and Works Act (No. 12 of 1911, amended in 1926 and 1956). We fix this with BEE. 🙂

8. Industrial Conciliation Act (No. 28 of 1956). We fix this with labour unions and minimum wage. 🙂

9. Extension of University Education Act (No. 45 of 1959). We fix this by giving priority to black students when applying to university. 🙂

Essentially, apartheid really really messed up (well for the black majority that is) and now it's impact must be addressed and sorted out yet the beneficiaries of the horrific government are here trying to pretend like these laws weren't inacted and that apartheid is something we should have long forgotten about is laughable.

And once all 2.5 million jobs are transformed, and unemployment and poverty drops by a whopping 4%, the real celebrations can begin, and equality will finally be achieved. There is no need for economic growth, new jobs, and new initiatives to uplift the 25 million impoverished after that, because all the problems will be gone. Just brilliant infallible logic really.

You clearly haven't worked out that a government is not necessarily its people.

Blaming all white people for the Apartheid govt is no different to blaming all black people for the post-Apartheid race-obsessed crime-ridden Rainbow nation.

All races suffered under both of these Statist regimes.
