Just the two by-elections today. A safe ward in Rand West City for the DA, while there is two-way fight in eThekwini - 2024 provincial KZN results are the main ones, with the 2021 municipal results in brackets. It seems that the DA has a solid floor in this ward, however, because it is a by-election, the result will come down to turnout and hopefully a sufficient number of DA voters go to the polls to keep the ward blue.

Some high ranking DA supporter here tried to dismiss the PA's win over the DA in the previous round of by election, citing low turnout, I wait to see if that is going to be a problem when the DA wins or it will be a vindication for the polls.
