I reckon the strategy is going to be the ANC "telling/asking" DA to give up some of their minister positions to hand over to Mashaba and Mmusi for being good little voting fodder.

DA rightfully says no. ANC boots out DA while Rama shrugs. Cue victimhood cries by the ANC and their cadres in the media.

Sad. I was in Durban City hall a awhile back , not just the council chambers ( which haven't been used ) but the surrounding meeting rooms. The architecture, wood paneling and decor is still beautiful.

Yeah. ANC is obviously trying to push DA out because they didn't expect DA to criticise/oppose or demand their fair share...

He added that the DA sought a genuine power-sharing relationship within the GNU.
According to Steenhuisen, the party has never acted in bad faith since the beginning of the coalition and has never met with parties not in the governance structure.
"It is the ANC that went outside the bounds of the statement of intent, and outside of the GNU to seek common cause with parties that are not party to the Government of National Unity. So, I don't think we behaved in bad faith."

Obvious since the start. The ANC wants it on record that the DA was in government when all these laws were signed. It's both for domestic and foreign audiences.

I do hope that the DA would not fall for the Doomsday crap when the vote of no confidence comes up subsequent to them getting kicked out of Government.
