Lol

I did say the rewind was going to be a problem
The same way everything up till now has been a problem
Executive overreach.
Let see what the court verdict is. That is why the ANC wants a out of court settlement. I am expecting the verdict to be very damaging to the anc.

The only way to rewind is a new bill that is voted on and passed by the people. It does not help saying there may be a new bill. That means f all.
Legally vat is 15.5 untill the new one is voted on and passed.
Even if that happens there is still the problem if the previous actions are deemed unconstitutional. It will unwind the rewind.
Actions of a poisoned chalice.
Except things are a lot worse now astechnically SA does not have a budget now because 2 other monetary bills have been withdrawn.
Also he cannot do expenditure cuts as that is not what the people voted in

This is all basic legal fundamentals and what the ANC/gov was ripped apart in court. The judges questions were very telling

Let's play along with ANC here. If true, does MOF not know what Treasury's doing? Is it a case of him not knowing what's going on with his charges?
Lol...

The lawyers for treasury are acting for him.
If they are not acting on his instructions I can see complaints being made to get them disbared
Separation of party and state is a huge problem in the ANC and legally it has the potential to bite them badly.

The irony of saying that while you are clinging on for dear life onto a GNU with the ANC is totally lost on her worshippers.
There is something you are missing. I have a suspicion on what it is. But let's see

I do worry about his mental state in the coming period, it's going to get considerably more difficult as his GLM slides further and further away from relevance.

Champy will be fine. He will take a few days to recover then bounce back to his usual self and pretend to have been trolling all along
