This is my number one issue with DA. Instead of reducing prices when they take over from the ANC and save a **** load of money when they plug all the corruption holes, therefore, saving money and making things cheaper (in theory).

But no, they don't reduce prices after plugging all the ANC looting holes, they rather make themselves the most expensive muni in the country, and on top of that, make it a living nightmare when one decides to make the renewable transition to save money, make energy more reliable (because the State has proven uncapable, since 2007 with no improved problem solved long term plan.

The only plan they have is to keep talking about making plans and more BEE.
How do you think they are going to pay to support the refugees from the rest of SA?

Informal settlements increase by the day. Someone must pay for it.

Cabanac looks like he will have a good legal case against the department. His colleagues had no problem about his performance. Apparently he was only finally fired due not getting security clearance.

The DA party politics interfered with government work, it is clear Cabanac was imposed on an unwilling Steenhuisen and he used the first opportunity he got to get rid of him.

If he takes the Minister to court and wins then Steenhuisen would be responsible for the wasteful expenditure incurred by the department.

As usual you have this the wrong way round. It wasn't imposed on Steenhuisen - Steenhuisen offered Cabanac the job as Steenhuisen had met him through Cabanac's current affairs show. Steenhuisen just decided to get rid of him due to public pressure although much of the controversy was generated by people who'd never vote DA so they should have been ignored.

That is what doesn't make sense, you are implying Steenhuisen wasn't aware of the controversies sorrounding Cabanac when he hired him?

To the contrary the public pressure was a very convenient excuse for Steenhuisen to use to get rid of Cabanac, if he didn't feel there's anything wrong Cabanac did why would he bow to public pressure?

Yes, that is what I'm implying. There are various reasons to bow to public pressure but I'm not sure which one applies here. All I'm saying is SA labour law is heavily tilted in favour of employees and because his performance wasn't an issue, I'm interested to see whether the reason(s) provided were valid and whether the correct process was followed.

Security clearance for that type of position is a requirement. If his security clearance was rejected then he cannot be in that position.

Do black people like Zille though?

I think many have been brainwashed by the ANC that she is somehow a bad anti-black person.

Which is complete nonsense, because as someone else said she was part of anti-apartheid movements, harboured MK operatives, and worked for the Black Sash.
The question is, does the DA have any history of turning anything around? Because they did not turn Cape Town around or the Western Cape for that matter, they had a very good opportunity to showcase their turnaround in Tshwane for 8 years, what happened there? The excuse always being thrown around here is that they did not have a majority, so where are they going to get a majority in Joburg?

So no, the Zille dream that's being sold is a nightmare for black people in the poor areas of the city or any area tgat isn't home for the DA electorate. The DA thrives in ideal conditions, especially those where there are enough well to do people they can tax to submission.

Before you repost your own drivel go and do proper research
SA crime stats are way higher than the USA

SA is ranked 6TH , yes 6TH in the world compared to USA which is 30th in the world

Pretty much all of SA's CBD's are no go areas for anyone, never mind western tourists.
Then what are you still doing here? 😭

Love how all this is also exposing that some never considered themselves Africans, they are only Africans when profits are being made from cheap African labour and minerals.

We don't have time for propaganda from Orange man and his country, we are moving forward with real transformation led by our democratically elected president Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa. 🙂

Deflection +1
Ever think why African labor is cheap ?
Answer can be found in simple economics

You dont mean transformation , you mean corruption and theft
