So he got a total remuneration package of R1.17m. A councillor's salary is a bit below half of that, so even if he does win, he will take quite a pay cut (highly unlikely that the PA will turf the DA out of George even if they lose the two seats as the FF+ and ACDP will ally with the DA).

Can you please tell me how Zille is like Eugene Terre'Blanche? Or is it a classic case of "you all look the same"?

Also, don't you find it lekka convenient that just recently one of the channel's current presenters became a mayoral candidate (I assume the channel knew about and facilitated this) for ASA and even glowingly quotes Mashaba shortly after, in a press release attempting to assassinate Gogo's character for the 8 millionth time?
