The idea is indeed very good, the question is are they capable of managing it properly.

The model of railways being granted property concessions around stations can work really well, portions of the revenue from the more profitable property leasing is pumped back in to the rail system which is less profitable.

Example,

I however don't have much faith in our government.

Anyone want to place bets on how long it’ll take for Mashaba to change his tune on this one too? At this rate, he’s flip-flopped so much he’s making Julius and his crowd look like the steady ones.

Won't be a big surprise, the DA and ActionSA share funders and I have a feeling Zille would be much more influential on the funders than Mashaba, so there us still a lot of time to flip flop.

Zille is just running away from the responsibility of being a good wife to her husband, the same thing Zuma did when the prospect of being a present husband to his many wives hit him after he resigned, he decided on starting the MK so that he can have an excuse of being busy.

I actually worked on a few of these concepts (shops at stations) but quite a time ago now. At least one was built and it was very impressive. Not sure about the others except that the trains don't run anymore.

At 79, Trump is efficiently managing entire world so at age 74, I don't see how Zille can't just look into managing Jozi.
