The point is, if PRASA and TRANSNET didn’t totally destroy the railways first, they wouldn’t have had to announce “We’re Back”, they could have just applied this wonderful concept of continuous maintenance and systematic upgrades.

They inherited some of the world’s best rail infrastructure, ran it into the ground, and then claim it as a victory to bring it back to some semblance of functionality. Truly world class African thinking at play.

Nothing but Hammanskraal, which the coalition was working to solve, before Mashaba had a racist conniption and collapsed the coalition. Strangely enough we don't hear about it from you anymore, wonder why... Because it hasn't gone away...

Can anyone tell me why Mashaba is calling the OP an 'apartheid defender'?

In that post, the numbers are simply the realities of 2025 SA, somehow that unemployment is worse, economic growth has stalled, bordering decline and state grant recipients have blown through the roof compared to the GEAR era of 1994 - 2006.
 
The slow radicalization of Mashaba has been quite something. Hell bent on the DA, on the same level as the local poephol. It just shows how social media and the algorithms can taint. The ease of propaganda and hate fuel is such a bad thing for our country. I dont expect the radicalized to get it though. People really need to get off of it, and live in the real world.

Im also not saying the DA are any better, because they are falling for the exact same trap it seems.

There are two outcomes when he gets called out and smacked. Option one is ignore and post an unrelated twitter link. Option two is a combination of cadre speak, including tantrum, right wing, decisive, and 'who are you to'. In his mind both options are some sort of win.

If those options fail, the overly sarcastic straw men make an appearance as a form of copium.

Slow? He was radical when he was mayor of jhb, it was also radical in the way he left as mayor.
 
So the main story on the Sunday Times website is that Morero gave in to the trade unions with R4bn sweetheart wage deal in order to avoid embarrassing disruptions during the G20. This money is going to be taken from the infrastructure portion of the budget, so Joburgers, continue to experience water and electricity disruptions!
