But South Africa is not a developing country, rather quite the opposite. In a year or two, unless something drastic happens, Egypt will overtake us.

G7 is a club going back a long time to 1975 when in fact these were top 7 economies. Secondly it's top 7 Western and closely allied capitalist economies. Not BRICS aligned. Not Non-Aligned. Not Anti-West aligned.

There is no need for regional representation in the G20. And anyone else can do. Nigeria - which is buying Western arms and voted with the West in the UN, Morocco or Ethiopia qualify more than South Africa. Ethiopia for example is an ancient country.

SA was allowed in the G20 because of the Mandela effect and people wanted to reward SA. But because of SA government racist laws, dislike of minorities and anti-Western alliances despite taking Western aid and benefiting from Western deals and the special post Mandela status, some SA leaders still bite the hand that feeds. We lecture America when we treat our own people like sh-t. SA is a collapsing country with millionaire looters defrauding hospitals where black people die, and it's all a joke.

Don't blame the messenger, SA is the one which mistreats its own people and has led to this crime and racist situation, with hundreds of racist laws where colour of your skin dictates how far you can get.

That's the thing. Developing countries actually develop. They're improving. SA is what? Cadres get newer version BMWs every 2-3 years when a new line is launched. But things are getting worse.

The G7 did not have the 7 largest economies in 1975.

You would be right to say that it had the largest 7 US-allied economies, but it did not have the 7 largest economies.

Racist policies, under the guise of redress, is a direct human rights violation. Our constitution was just written in such a way to disguise open ended racist policies as 'redress'
