But South Africa is not a developing country, rather quite the opposite. In a year or two, unless something drastic happens, Egypt will overtake us.There are countries in the G7 that are not in the 7 biggest economies in the world. There is no rule that says you HAVE to be in the biggest 7 or 20. When the G20 was started in 1999 South Africa didn’t have a top 20 economy but it was the biggest economy in Africa and is Africas representative. It is still the biggest economy in Africa.
No I don’t believe it. For a country as insignificant according to you as SA he talks an awful lot about it.
