Who are the "you people" you refer to?
"You people" is a veiled racist remark, in my experience.
Not sure how Champ intended it.

I also want whatever it is you're smoking
While I do not think Cyril himself is directly involved in corruption and looting
You really don't, its Panyaza's skid-marked panties.
I feel as if Patrice would be a kind of repeat of Cyril.
Before Cyril took office, a lot of people thought: "He is a billionaire, he is not in it for the money, nor for tenders or contracts, etc., and he will therefore focus on the job at hand instead of enriching himself."
While I do not think Cyril himself is directly involved in corruption and looting, he did not deliver in the way we hoped someone not hungry for money would.
Will it be the same for Patrice?

You forget the 30%ers lap up this **** like all stoopidI don't give a flying fork about large environmental polluters. They can pollute away
We're talking political parties doing their jobs and then making like it's something special. I don't need no kak PR to determine if my muni is doing their job. Neither does anybody else. Unless you are oblivious to the obvious
It's a weasel term that basically means right-wingers/white people/DA supporters."You people" is a veiled racist remark, in my experience.

Romans built roads 2000 years ago that are still used today, with very little maintenance required. Water supply systems too for that matter. You are imagining things, there wouldn't be a road there if they only started to do their job after 30 years.
That’s what annual reports, audits and oversight committees are for.Telling the ratepayers about how their money is spent is also their job, so sit back, relax and allow Dada to cook.
Remember there is no Xhosa/Zulu/Twsana/Venda/pedi etc word for maintenance. It’s not a particularly widely accepted concept in African culture. They're painting faded road markings, not building a road. It takes many years for road markings to fade. Why weren't they repainted when they started fading several years ago? Then they could look good all the time. It's called maintenance.
You can’t be serious. Look at how Cyril become a billionaire? Think about Phala Phala. Think about his time at Lonmin. He is as directly involved in corruption as any other senior member of the ANC in the last 20 yearsI feel as if Patrice would be a kind of repeat of Cyril.

You don't need large polluter to tell you they're doing something to save the environment when in actual fact they're doing nothing.I don't give a flying fork about large environmental polluters. They can pollute away

Again, everyone pretends like it's a Jozi thing when the issue is widespread. I don't recall this being an issue before. Let's be consistent. They're not the government. There isn't a reason for a government to run a PR campaign using taxpayers' money to tell voters how well it is doing. The voters know. They can touch, feel and see how the government is doing and respond at the polls.

It is widespread. Which is why I called @Sideshow Bob out when he was praise-singing for his hero Cilliers Brink role-playing as garbage man for 2 minutes
My vok you people![]()
So do you see people who blindly support the DA posting tweets from the relevant department/agencies about painting lines on roads in the municipality the DA "leads"?
2 wrongs dont make a right.Yes
Ok
Ever seen the huge PR campaigns run by the large environmental polluters?
