Imagine if the area was gentrified - The DA bad cuz poor people had to move.
Imagine if the area was given services and upgraded infrustructure to support the area - The DA bad cuz poor people want more.

I am impressed you see the future with the MK in it, my future prediction is that things will eventually go back to the way they were when the inevitable happens, 10 years ago the IFP was a dead party walking, now they are alive again, it's all about biding your time in KZN, things will always reset back to default settings.

Meanwhile in other provinces things are resetting much faster than anticipated, from 60% last year, to 36% now.

Perhaps not as strong a national showing as last year, but strong in KZN, replacing the ANC in the South.

But it all depends on how long uBaba holds. When he goes, okes will probably move to IFP again in KZN specifically.

I tried reading but I lost interest here when I realised the publication is a DA mouthpiece. Summarize if for me, what exactly is happening? Or at least get me a better source that one that calls a failed Mayor like Cilliers Brink a Mr Fix It, I can still read for myself and engage.

This is very much the case in Tshwane, where a “Mr Fix-it” executive mayor (Cilliers Brink of the DA) was ousted in a political deal that saw a former ally switch sides and be rewarded with the mayoral chain (Action SA’s Nasiphi Moya).
