They will probably wait until the new year to put the knife in the back. I mean, Zuma and his slate were overwhelmingly defeated and Zuma refused to budge until like February if memory serves me correct. Cyril isn't as hated as Zuma so it will depend on the "balance of forces" and whether the entire slate for say Mashathile wins or whether some Cyril-supported candidates are also in the top six.
