The way the DA made the credit card thing disappear, I would say he might win, look at the speed it was investigated with and resolved simply by paying back the money, they are going out of their way to accommodate him, which means he is on the right side of the powers that be.

The powers that be seem desperate for the GNU to hold... here's hoping it goes down in flames

The positive out of all this is that Zille's time could be finally coming to an end, Steenhuisen, despite his shortcomings, has been a good leader for the DA, he is not as polarizing as Zille.

When you feed at the trough you take great care to ensure it stays that way

Wouldn't surprise me if the whole foot and mouth thing is just another way of making money

not so sure about steenhuizen winning in april.

he has created a huge credibility problem in being found guilty of the very things he constantly accused anc members of.
for now he seems a bit of a lame duck - one that has created all manner of problems for his party, along with the perception of being captured & corrupt.

The only serious competitor to Steenhuisen is Hill-Lewis, and he said he won't compete with Steenhuisen because they are friends. I'm also quite a fan of Oom Leon Schreiber, but I haven't seen anything to suggest he has leadership ambitions.

Hill-Lewis is useless.
He only appears when there is a good news photo op, then vanishes as soon as the kitchen gets a little warm.

Disloyalty to South Africa is when you do things that might get you punished by the US, so you should be...loyal...to South Africa by...doing whatever keeps the US happy.

Zero integrity. Pure pro-US slop. That's all.

We literally hosted a joint US military exercise in KZN in 2022, but okes have no issues with that.

We should be much closer to the USA.
