This isn't about by elections Champy, Soweto is your golden jewel that scares the DA. Its remiss of you not to know the location of each ward that the DA are going to get humiliated in.

Turns out it is a DA ward, knowing this, I have no choice but to revoke the deal we had until the DA grows some balls and is able to compete outside of their comfort zone.

So you will have to wait slightly longer to see me engaging in a debate on a major topic.

You can't revoke the deal... you made it and the conditions were met, the DA have competed in a ward in Soweto.

Yeah they paid of a chunk of a loan and thus were charged less interest
But NOOOOO the Champy and Co will not tell the full story. Lying by ommision. There was also a ~11Bilion chunk of profit included that was a once off from a historical ruling that rightly belonged in the previous year

Then we wont go into the Diesel savings due to lower generation required because of a ton of enterprises closing down and lower residential demand. Hence a large reason why no diesel was burnt, hence expense savings. That is just Eskom taking credit where it is actually a sad state of affairs

They only made a profit because tax payers and users that actually pay for electricity were forced to pay more.

They got 64bn and the previous year they got 74bn. Why didn't they get a bigger profit the previous FY if this "expert" is to be believed. But I pointed this out to you yesterday. The "profit" aside, they made a huge improvement even if you remove the capital injection from their income statement.

But dont worry Eskom employees did so well that they deserved their "Employee benefits costs" to increase by 23%

So total Eskom electricity sold is still declining
Considering the years before when we had excessive load shedding, eskom still managed to sell less in 2024

1. Increase tarrifs, give more free stuff to gimme's
2. Reduce muni debt ( LOL . Impossible. That would mean removing the anc to fix corruption and theft)

He doesn't know because it's not Hammanskraal. Speaking of which, why is Herman campaigning in Soweto, and not giving people in his home town of Hammanskraal more taps...
