ASA is history, all those bleeding heart whities who Herman conned will make their way back to the DA after seeing the error of their ways. If ASA is to maintain anything close to their existing support, it will come at the expense of the ANC. Most rational people don't take kindly to flip-floppers which is why Julius is also stuck...

Well, the new administration took over late last year when the DA was kicked out, so knowing that, when was this supposed to happen? Were they supposed to sit with the DA's mess and do nothing just because they will raise suspicion by doing too much when an election is coming up?

The majority of ActionSA's support never came from white DA supporters to begin with so they have nothing much to lose on that front.

Never seen a single such oke in any of the ActionSA tents. Flip - you can even find some charous in EFF but not a single white oke for ASA. I think braai whip has been issued against Mashaba.

It was just a made up thing from DA aligned pollsters. The majority of people who voted for ActionSA are those who were happy to finally see an Experiment brave enough to stand up to Zille and those who supported Mashaba's anti illegal immigration stance.

Yes they did and still do have white supporters but those are a minority.

Regardless, the DA may well beat the ANC but they are both likely to stay in the 30s. The ANC have more backing to form a coalition compared to the DA who have FF+ and ACDP. The IFP chase power so they'll go either way but that won't be enough.

You assume that the people responsible for this decision listened to those who actually have experience in the area required.

Fire Stations do need to be decentralised to a degree, but it is a fine balance between too much infrastructure costing too much and too little making responses take too long.

Also, being less nasty to Dada and his merry band of incompetent criminals, my assumptions is that JHB Central is just a name for the firestation for JHB CBD and possibly nearby surrounding areas.

Central is probably just the name of the station, most probably related to it being in the CBD, hopefully your brain still functions properly not to think it is a facility that centralizes all the resources at one place as Facts Unlimited seem to think.

Will they be getting more fire trucks to fill all the fire stations?

The official number of fire engines available to the city at the moment is 11, according to the spokesperson for Johannesburg EMS, Robert Mulaudzi. This figure is, however, disputed by private firefighting entities who say the number is much lower.
