Its still a start... though maybe we get lucky and the court denies the appeal and he has to then petition the ConCourt to hear it.

Well normal court can deny leave to appeal, then he has to petition the court of appeals. If they decline, then he has to petition the concourt.

I think the courts are sick of Zuma and his legal strategy. They need to come up with rules that clearly identify his abuse of the legal system and start severely awarding punitive damages against him.

The rules generally do exist, but our courts have been overly lenient to show "fairness" in my opinion

To hell with that. If anything it's discriminatory to ordinary citizens who would never get that amount of leniency. They need to stop this pandering and treat him like everyone else...

I 100% agree that the courts have massively erred by bending over as backwards for him as they have and they have done justice in this country a huge disservice.

Some more from that report. This time, about Montana, the CEO of PRASA, who appointed Mthimkhulu:

In 2022, Montana threatened to lay criminal charges against chief justice Raymond Zondo after he recommended police investigate Montana’s dealings while he was CEO of Prasa between 2010 and 2015.

Last week, the South African Revenue Service obtained a favourable court judgment for Montana’s sequestration.

“This is a black South African who has been given the opportunity to study,” Dugmore stated.


“And it shows that the investment which the ANC has made in education to support public works and infrastructure is something to celebrate.”
