Do you think they actually did any real work?

They just wasted the real workers time for a photo-op and then vanished into some posh airconditioned place to have a chow.
 
There is widespread reporting about Solidarity’s court action against Lesufi and the Johannesburg Metro regarding the race banner.

In short, it comes down to this: Solidarity had a valid contract with an advertising company. However, the Metro contacted the company and insisted that the banner be removed because they did not like the message. Lesufi then declared that the “anti-transformists” must be defeated. Without following any proper procedure, the Metro Police unlawfully removed the banner. This is a clear abuse of power to suppress freedom of speech and silence opponents. Solidarity will appear in the urgent court on 18 November.
