You can frame it however you want, but if age really disqualifies someone from leadership, then your own leader at 73 should be first in line. You can’t apply the rule to some and not to others, but that is the way of the ANC, so I see your logic

1. Why did they not do this before? Because, based on the caliber of leaders they put in place in the past, they clearly could not care about the quality of leaders.
2. Why the sudden emphasis on these qualities? Would these qualities not be inherent in a good leader anyway?
