So, 5 years to trial and trial for 30 years? The NPA are just too incompetent to successfully prosecute these old stale cases. I'm sure there's a lot of low hanging fruit they can get these guys on. At least they're then in jail while you pursue the big cases.
A silver lining is that it will put some brakes on his seemingly resurgent political career.

The ANC will have to scrap that rule soon given the NPA take decades to bring a case to trial never mind judgement. It's quite unfair if we're honest.

They must put their own processes in place to make judgements.

What Cyril has done despite all the criticism is that he will be taking a much more united ANC to the conference compared to Mbeki and Zuma, so there won't be any wholesale changes of the policies adopted.

If I were Gigaba or anyone in his position I wouldn't bank on that, especially since there us no clear opposing faction that has emerged, Mashatile's position is very weak.

I have no read on where the factions stand and who is likely to emerge winner. It's a bit disconcerting that Mbalula is seen as a credible contender though.

Not that reform is possible. Mashatile would just continue the rich culture of corruption without changing anything in terms of helping the people. Panyaza much the same with the added race obsessions. Mbaks would at least add garden variety incompetence which might be a welcome change to the corruption in a suit of the other two.

What is typical is your laziness, you want everything to be done for you and you just sit there, typical local mentality.
Laziness?
You're scraping the bottom of the barrel here.
People engage you about the greatest looting movement in the world, and then you turn a blind eye to facts given to you and legitimate questions of what your 'heroes' have been doing with taxpayer money. Then you jump back onto your DA=BAD wagon and spout more ANC nonsense and propaganda like you're getting paid to it.

Apply the same statement to the ANC - Sure:

If the ANC cared about taxpayers money and South Africa instead of their bank accounts like they keep telling everyone that wants to hear it, none of their previous and current office bearers would have been in office or anywhere near taxpayer money.

Now you can go sit in your corner with your ANC mentality and watch how the ANC burns South Africa to the ground.

I see the GLM is using G20 as a means to extract some much needed cash through "sponsorship" of the PBF golf day.
5 bar to be a platinum sponsor and play 18 holes with Dr President. But I reckon those 4 ball slots will be reserved for Big Five capo's.

Under the guise of "2025 G20 Golf Diplomacy and Economic Engagement Summit" nogal.

We can only hope that after retirement of oxygen thief Batohi, next person will do better. A blob of jelly will do better than her tbh.

Gigaba doesn't quite have the resources of Zuma. And it is good to go after the old cases because they can be used to catch the other cases. Gibaba can trade some prison time to rat out the other cadres.
