That time Zille is not even a member of the Joburg leadership, let alone the leader, she just woke up one day and decided she will be the Joburg mayoral candidate, do you see the irony?

She didn't just wake up one day and decide to be the DA JHB mayoral candidate. She followed a competitive process within the DA's internal structures and earned her nomination.

"Competitive process", who was she competing against? when and where was the competitive process held? Was the media invited? By how many votes did she beat the other candidates?

We all know who Dada was competing against, it was a transparent process.

The DA uses a different process to that of the ANC when selecting mayoral candidates. They don't have votes but rather a committee selects the preferred candidate after a tough interview process.
