SA Post Office has high expectations for its ecommerce platform

I have started using Banggood again, purely because they now courier the stuff using Buffalo.... it never touches SAPO's hands. Orders generally take 2 or 3 weeks to arrive now, and the tracking is accurate these days.

Also its slightly more expensive than the Post, but not horribly so. Seems to top out at around $4 + the stupid customs charges you would normally have paid to SAPO

Which shipping option should we choose on their site to ensure it doesn't touch SAPO and their pathetic JHB International joke mail centre?

South Africa Direct Mail

It will usually have a charge attached to it...

It actually looks like Banggood no longer offers SAPO shipping options.

2030? Will anybody still be using it by that time?

I switched to a private bag address at PostNet after our PO Box key broke off inside the lock and the post office refused to replace the lock because "we couldn't provide them with the two keys for the box". My wife told me this was their explanation and I didn't believe her. I eventually explained to three different people on two different occasions at the Centurion office that I could provide them with one and three-quarters keys but they flat-out refused because their policies demanded that two keys be returned before a lock could be replaced. I wish this was a made-up story but on the bright side, I've been SAPO free for two years now.

I tried for well over a year to get a postbox at Bug Bay, they couldn't help me because they didn't have locks.

Mark Barnes does his part to fight racism and promote equality by reminding everyone that whites can be just as ****ing worthless when they are in charge.

Barnes said SAPO will accomplish this by launching an ecommerce platform in April 2019, investing in the organisation’s infrastructure and working with “local and international online retail players”.

SAPO plans to launch its new ecommerce platform next month, and Barnes hopes they can become a leading ecommerce player through its implementation.

Perhaps SAPO is waiting for the ecommerce platform CD starter kit to be delivered via SAPO's snail mail and theft service.

I pity the village idiots that decide to put their hopes and trust in SAPO (with or without an ecommerce platform shoe).

I wouldn't want to be in his shoes as there's absolutely nobody in this country that can run SAPO effectively. The SA gov and unions have made sure of that. The fixes are simple and already widely available but they'll never be implemented.

This is just an epic legend comment :ROFL:
