i think there is free speech and intent. as wizard said, there are plenty pedophile groups on the internet(with a few that i've had a look at) that talk about doing terrible things to children. but they wouldn't do it, it is on the forums after all, but doesn't it bother people? much like pedophile groups, the website didn't serve and other purpose than to be hateful, and then the **** still tries to cover it up on the radio by calling it satire.
it's legal, just as much as talking about pedophilia is, but it doesn't make the person anymore right or human

This site was not shut down by the authorites, it was shut down by the site owner because his real name had come out cause he was caught hacking another right wingers facebook and gmail.
As he had said such disgusting things on his website he was scared someone would get back at him so he HIMSELF shut it down. Thats it. No soldiers of the ANC shut it down, no free speech was affected in this.. the dude shut down his own hate site.
But you guys dont care about the facts its all about "free speech", when thats not the issue here. *sigh*
A better question is would various law enforcement departments in America have gotten involved in a cyber crime. The answer is yes. So I disagree with Bwana. If someone in America had commited cyber crimes like hacking. Then yes, as it has happened in the past in America and as it will happen in the future in America. It happened to Kevin Mitnick. This is what happened in this case, the ANC, the police etc did not take his right away for free speech, they arrested him for breaking the law and hacking. He would have been bunny jumped in jail and his site closed down right away if this was about free speech. There would have also been a court order to close the website down if it was about free speech.
I swear, its like a goose farting against a hurricane to try speak rationally to a mob.

You're right of course - I haven't been particularly interested in the history or fate of this particular site - as a result I answered Sackboy's question under the impression he was referring to freedom of speech - not cyber crimes. In that respect I'd disagree with me too

People have gotten really upset about this idiots freedom of speech, this is not even about freedom of speech in the first place. The tw*t closed his own website down. He was not forced to close the site down by any authority, therefor no infringement of freedom of speech. Although a royal poophol like that should not have the privlage of freedom of speech in the first place.
You see, this is the problem, it's not that his right to free speech was infringed on but that the A-hole abused said right by spreading hate and insighting racism. Hate and raceism are not rights provided by any constitution ( infact just the oppesit.) Plus he used his freedom of speech to flat out lie (posting images of other incedents and atributing them to farm murders in the hopes of instiling more hate and raceism.)
