SA team wins international supercomputing conference

A team of six South African undergraduate students has won first prize at the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC) in Frankfurt, Germany.

The competition, which ran from 16 to 19 June 2019, challenged teams to design, build, and run the best-performing computer cluster.

Congrats! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Tell us about the degree and how much longer you have?
Sorry. I'm one of the team that runs the program at CHPC - not one of the students.

The UCT guys are Comp.eng, IIRC Wits were all CompSci... and all students we select must be undergraduate and remain such for the international round ...

Why run crysis when you can HODL ;)

but to be serious for a moment, it *can* run crysis but we blew the budget - can't afford an MS Windows license

Easy... we can sort that out for you... no problems :D

Not so sure about the Youtube thing....

BUT it would be nice to know the specs and design (if its possible to share that).... be nice to see what you can do with R6m...
