SA Traffic Cameras

Awesome site, better than the itraffic one, dont like using it at all. Although unfortunately, seeing this traffic just lets me know of impending doom, as I don't have alternative routes to work :(
 
I have been following the cameras on Twitter @CapeTownFreeway. But prefer your site..more direct and one click to get images you want..
 
Would be awesome when you click on a camera, to see live stream for that specific cam (just like another poster said earlier) - agreed!
 
I know that this is still in development, but what would be nice is the ability where you can check-box only the cameras you want to see i.e. favorites.

These preferences would be saved into your profile, so that every time you go onto the site you log-in and have a customised-dashboard type view.

Well done though.
 
Just be careful as the website's Terms and Conditions specifically forbids automated third-party access to their data.

Will add updates like location/map popup etc soon enough but its a start lol.

Then they must start with suing Google, Yahoo, Bing for indexing their whole site

However reading their T's and C's wondering if I should not rather close it.. don't want any issues

Use any robot, spider or other similar kind of automatic programme or device, or manual process to monitor, copy, summarize, or otherwise extract information from this website; or

Why don't you ask them for permission? Or suggest to them that they should use what you have done - either way it goes will benefit us.

Don't wanna be another myBB member with a police case :P I have mailed asking but doubt anything will come but them opening a case of hacking against me..

I think your hack is very sophisticated - you might really be getting into trouble then ;-) - stick at least some contact email/details into your source-code so that the Hawks can find you easier

Not a hack ;) All publicly available on Google images anyway. Domain whois is enough :P
