Where are you going to draw the line in your quest to help the unemployed, allow the boss to deny them leave and what else? Are the workers allowed to be sick?

I suspect that most bosses would act decently towards their employees. For those who don't, still allow the potential employee to make that choice. Can we please treat them as grown-ups!

Just because the government does not force companies to give people leave does not mean companies will not give employees leave. Most companies knows if you want productive employees they need leave.

The less unemployment we have, the less companies can exploit workers .

This almost never happen, whether employer is Chinese, Zulu, Afrikaner, etc.

Why all the resistance against government oversight if employers were going to do the right thing anyway?

Because they keep on increasing regulations. The more regulations the less investment and more unemployment.

What we need more than anything is economic growth, and you not going to achieve that if the government keep on interfering in our economy.
