Just send the SANDF there and save the helpless majority of the country. The Dictator must me hanged for public display !

Cosatu spokesperson Patrick Craven said Mamoepa's response was "shamefully weak."

"Such a response is disgraceful, in the face of such massive attacks on democracy and human rights, especially coming from those who owed so much to international solidarity when South Africans were fighting for democracy and human rights against the apartheid regime," Craven said.
.

Sickening. And Mbeki's in Saudi. Is he ever at home? Seems the southern end of the continent doesn't exist for him.

This SA government has become one big human rights atrocity.

On a shopping trip?
Seen on the news. Trade and contracts. (I thought we had a trade minister, oh but much better for him to go himself.) I mean, the last thing he wants is to spend any time in the country.

He should be declared a foreign national 'cause he fails the domicile criteria.

I wonder if Zim told the freedom fighters of this country to sort out their own problem.

Lets be honest, if Madbob and his cronies were white, there would be all sorts of hell to pay from the SA government.

Zimbabwe has just created their own Sharpeville - even America took note of the incident.

"South Africa urges the Zimbabwean government to ensure that the rule of law including respect for rights of all Zimbabweans and opposition leaders is respected," Deputy Foreign Minister Aziz Pahad said.
That's not a statement, that's an excuse.

Brutal thugs (the bbc pic is really shocking and so very sad.)

All they have said is that they urge Zim to obey the rule of law.
"South Africa urges the Zimbabwean government to ensure that the rule of law including the respect for rights of all Zimbabweans and leaders of various political parties be respected," Pahad said in a statement.
then Pahad has a go at the opposition, the ones that are dying in the streets and being brutally assualted
"Similarly, we appeal to leaders of opposition political parties to work towards a climate that is conducive to finding a lasting solution to the current challenges faced by the people of Zimbabwe," Pahad said.
Ahh so now it is the oppositions fault.

Agree this is not a response.

The ANC government won't do anything, because Mugabe allowed the MK camps to flourish in Zimbabwe.

How can you turn around now and say - 'we don't like what you're doing'. Think Mugabe will tell them to F*** Off.

SABC news: Controlled by the Government.

So what else could we have expected ?

How true!

The world community again has been shown that the regime of Robert Mugabe is ruthless and repressive and creates only suffering for the people of Zimbabwe," she said.

Finally the States has something to say which makes sense.

However, few of Zimbabwe's neighbours have condemned its policies.

Sickening

Are we and the rest of the region just gonna let Bob kill off a nation?

Unfortunately yes.

goes to show, even our local government voice, ol spin dokta, extermi, has reached a point where he cannot side with our governments lack of action. Welcome to the other side, extermi!

Black people can supress black people, attack them, kill them, murder them - in front of the whole world - and it's OK.

Funny how the old world works?
