I am so sick of seeing slower ball bouncers. Jeez are our bowlers just thick? Maphaka is now being taught this rubbish. Every game its the same with these bowlers. Slower ball bouncer gets hit for six, bowl a yorker and only concede a run. Then back to this cutter rubbish halfway up the pitch only to be hit out the ground. We are obsessed with this "variation" that doesn't work. Does Bumrah worry about variation or about getting the yorker right?

Jasprit has something like three different variations of slower balls he used along with the yorker and the slower bouncer. Its all about reading the conditions and match situation.
The reason why a lot of bowlers go for the slower ball and not the yorker is cause there is a bigger margin of error. The issue is they are over doing it, bowling too many slower ball bouncers.
I'm going to assume that you had a lot of emotion invested in this game? From a neutral point of view that dropped catch had absolutely nothing to do with the final outcome of the game. You're literally hoping for one six to bring about world peace!!

He wasn't picked in the auction but has also been injured for most of the season.

Our bowling has been ok for most of the season. We just can't score runs if the openers fail.
