Capitals won. Too much for Butler to do on his own.
Aye. A good innings by Hope gave PC a solid chance. He scored 58% of their innings, undefeated. Respect. It allowed their bowlers some freedom to get the job done.

Buttler was amazing tonight. There was good experience in the team line up that should have supported and played around him. Really poor by DSG. They could have set a new record.

Too many times I felt that their management of the strike and chase was not existent. Too many overs where the wrong person was farming the strike.

This will be the 5th game impacted by rain. Eish. 3rd one for DSG

The Weather whether rain or lightning is ruining this year's tournament.
I was happy earlier when I realised that tonight's game was not in Joburg or Pretoria. Alas, Durban also cops it with the wet stuff. I agree, sadly, too many ruined by weather

Rotten luck for DSG.

I know it is possibly quite alternative, but why not schedule a few games in Kimberley and Bloemfontein? I am 100% certain you will get full stadiums there. Good for the competition, sponsors, and more importantly, the people.

Can't really do it in a tournament where its home and away games.

Another game lost. This one is to the detriment of DSG. 3 games left for DSG. Hopefully the weather favours their hopes.

I’d imagine at least one of those will get a team when the league is expanded.

For me the solution is simple. Reserve day. There really should be a reserve day built into the scheduling.

I think the schedule is too tight for that.
It probably is and it might pose something of a logistical nightmare but it needs to be done. Can't be losing, arguably, 20% of results to weather.

Edit: for starters, every 5.30pm fixture should have 1.30pm the next day set aside as a potential reserve day.

The costs would be insane. Just think of all the venue staff, security, vendors, and broadcast teams... on top of the logistical nightmares of the teams.

Not to mention a lot of the crowd wont be able to go to the game on the next day

Rutherford got us to some score.
But another low par effort from most of capitals.
Brevis with more none thinking...

Why are the skies so grey over Paarl?

Some fires nearby?
