So MICT has finished bottom of the table 3 out of 4 seasons despite having on paper the best team.

Good game today. Sad to see MICT finish so miserably. But SEC paced the game well to go top of the table.

Much as I was hoping JSK would make the finals this time, their batting has let them down. Injuries have not helped their quest :(

Because of this, I think PR have the upper hand tomorrow. I am looking forward to it. It should be a great contest.

Don now also ruled out of the SA20. No idea on WC.
In something that has "nothing" to do with nepotism he has been replaced by Ali bachet's nephew.

For someone who's adament race had nothing to do with the Smith selection, you're pretty quick to call nepotism on the Jew

Also, it's his grandson.

Because jarren has done nothing to warrant any selection. There are plenty of other cricketers in SA who deserves a SA20 chance.
You won't even find any stats for him.
So please tell me based on what he has been picked.

Smith I can point to actual performance even if I wouldn't have picked him I can see some logic.

Surely Rickelton replaces Don as back up keeper ?

Before the start I had DSG, MiCT and SEC as certain in the top 4, and not giving PR a hope in hell to qualify :D Boult and Rashid were disappointing to say the least. Pooran didn't live up to the hype, neither did Smith and surely they could have find someone better than Pollard to replace Rashid for the last 2 games

An option. But that doesn't replace the Don role as ricks isn't a late order hitter.
So interesting to see who they go for.
Stubbs will also be an option... middle order, bats well in India and can keep

The Don was great for the balance of the side. as he is also a useful bowler, something Stubbs and Ricks aren't. He would likely have made up the fifth bowler in tandem with Markram. Now if he doesn't play, Markram either has to bowl a full allocation of four overs (which is risky) or you then have to load in an extra allrounder and possibly shorten the batting order. The starting XI may look something like this now.

Markram
de Kock
de Zorzi
Brevis
Miller
Smith
Linde
Jansen
Rabada
Nortje
Ngidi

Popping Ferreira in the order in place of Nortje for example, lengthens the batting, gives you power hitting down the order and takes care of the 5th bowing option.
